KSF’s goal is to provide scholarships to needy students in several Kenyan High Schools.
Primary education in Kenya is free. However, secondary education is partially subsidized by the Kenyan government, and only 10% of students get more than an 8th grade education. Girls are lowest priority in many homes.
Accomplishments To Date
Kenya Scholarship Fund Inc (KSF) is
a US based tax exempt organization
established by Kenyans living in the
United States to promote academic
advancement for at-risk high school
students in Kenya. The fund was
established to give Kenyans living
overseas a chance to give back to
the children of their country in
thankfulness for the advantages that
they themselves have received.
